COA - Chart of Accounts
The Rockefeller University Chart of Accounts (COA) is the list of all financial accounts used by RU defined by codes for such information as: type of transaction, budget period, department, fund, program, project, etc.

CRP - Conference Room Pilot
CRPs are test versions of the IAS system that are not installed for general use. Multiple CRPs are used to test and improve the system configuration of the applications as well as to provide a preliminary demonstration of the forthcoming financial and human resource operational environments. The IAS Project will conduct four CRPs, culminating in a fully configured solution ready for general production use by the University community.

FRS
Financial Records System, the current 30-year old system in Finance to be replaced by the IAS Project.

IAS Project - Integrated Administrative Systems Project
A project at The Rockefeller University to replace several older, disparate and inefficient administrative computing systems in the are of Finance, Human Resources, and Procurement with a single, modern database accessed by a set of integrated software applications.

IAS System
The Oracle E-business suite software package after it is implemented by the RU project team and made specific to the needs and specifications of the RU community.

Implementation Consulting Partners
Outside management consultants hired for the length of the IAS Project to help with the complicated implementation process. For Finance and Procurement the Implementation Consulting Partner is BearingPoint, and for Human Resources it is KBACE.
